How We Work

A quality paint job begins with protecting the jobsite.  This includes covering floors, furniture, light fixtures, handrails, etc.  Sometimes it means tenting off the work area with Zipwalls.  With Paintcrafters, you can rest assured that your home or business is protected from dust, splatter and overspray.

Paintcrafters maintains good relations with all major paint vendors in our area.  We are familiar with various products and willing to use high quality products from your preferred brand.  Our preferred products include Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Enamel for trim, doors and cabinets and Sherwin Williams Duration Interior Matte for walls.

A castle built on sand cannot stand, and a paint job over a weak substrate will not last.  Even brand new building materials require proper and thorough preparation before paint is ever applied, including light checking, scraping, spackling, progressive sanding, detailed vacuuming, and one or more good, solid coats of primer.

Over the years, we've found that the best paint jobs are ones that you don't notice-- when you walk into the space and everything is just perfect.  Nothing catches your eye-- no sags, no nail holes or nail pops, no drips, no clumps, no holidays, no flashing-- just clean, perfectly coated surfaces.  We don't rush from job to job, we work steadily and methodically and make sure every job gets done right so we don't have to come back.
